Our flexible and non-slip rubber flooring provides your horse with a secure footing and optimum support for grooming. In washdown areas, the concrete floor can quickly become slippery, which can lead to accidents. Our water-permeable rubber mats, with their open pore surface structure, offer the best footing for your horse. This can help to avoid injuries.
However, SAGUSTU Rubber screed is also a suitable alternative for your washdown area or solarium.
SAGUSTU-drain mat
Our SAGUSTU Drainage mats are the ideal flooring for your washdown area, because the conical pimples on the underside ensure excellent drainage. The open pore surface structure makes them extremely non-slip too.

SAGUSTU-drain mat redu
SAGUSTU Redu drainage mats have a thickness of 40 mm. Their drainage function makes them an excellent choice of flooring for washdown areas.

We’d like to draw your attention to the fact that SAGUSTU Rubber Screed is made of natural rubber and is solvent-free. This environmentally-friendly composition means that a chalky deposit may form on the surface at certain levels of humidity or residual moisture in the ground beneath it. This can be removed using a standard limescale remover. Slight hoofprints are created in the surface when the puffy upper latex layer gets squashed. This squashing function is important for the stability of the horse; it will not damage the covering. Installation instructions will be supplied when your goods are delivered, once you have placed your order.
Seamless installation creates a permanently smooth rubber flooring which is impermeable to water. Impervious to PH neutral cleaning agents. A coating thickness of 20 mm is recommended in the stable area and veterinary hospitals. Installation on wood, concrete, interlocking paving, metal and other surfaces possible. The surface can be made smooth and closed cell with the aid of a spiked roller. If installed in an outdoor area, the surface must be covered and rising damp must be avoided.
If installed in wet areas, e.g. washdown areas, the surface can be equipped with quartz to increase the slip resistance. Even better slip resistance can be achieved by using a rubber mat as a fixed insert. On-site professional installation by our experienced team possible on request.

Our Rubber honeycomb mat is non-slip and can be used a covering on concrete or paved floors with a slope of 2-3 %. The mats are attached to each other using connectors.

Eldorado-Puzzle mat with horse head profile
The Eldorado interlocking mat can be joined so well that it creates an almost seamless covering. This provides the perfect flooring for your horse.

Bedding recommendations:
We recommend the use of high-absorbency bedding (wood shavings or similar). The bedding will also help to seal the joints. Any remaining liquid that seeps between the mats will evaporate.
Subsurface:
The subsurface must be level and sealed, concrete or paving. No incline needed.
