Rubber flooring for stable walkways
By using our flexible and non-slip rubber mats, you ensure a secure footing in your stable walkways. We’ve all experienced the problem that our horses are often in a rush to get into or out of their stable. If the horse slips, it could lead to a serious accident.
Our rubber mats will also reduce noise levels, making your stable a more peaceful place.
Eldorado-puzzle mat with horse head profil
The Eldorado interlocking mat can be joined so well that it creates an almost seamless covering. This provides the perfect flooring for your horse.
Measurements:

SAGUSTU-elastic-composite paving stones
The outstanding non-slip properties of our flexible interlocking paving stones make them highly recommended for use in stable walkways. And they look great too.
Measurements:
- Size: 20 cm x 16.5 cm (each stone)

Subsurface:
Can be laid on concrete, concrete paving or a bed of gravel / chippings (firm and level). There should be a slope of around 2-3 % and a drain.
We recommend fixings around the edges (e.g. wooden or aluminium rail) to prevent slipping.

SAGUSTU-elastic-composite paving mat
Due to their size, our interlocking paving mats are quick and easy to install in larger stable walkways, and don’t forget, they're non-slip and look great too.
Measurements:
- Size: 1.00 m x 1.12 m
- Thickness: 43 mm, 30 mm and 17 mm
- Colour: reddish-brown, black or green
- Top surface: ring matting
- Underside: drainage grooves (43 mm + 30 mm)
- Underside: smooth (17 mm)

SAGUSTU-rubber wedge
The SAGUSTU Rubber Wedge provides an unimpeded transition. The Rubber Wedge helps to avoid tripping.

Surface hammer groove, underside smooth or fabric textured. Impermeable to water and urine, non-slip, sound-deadening, easy to clean and simple to install as it is supplied rolled.

We’d like to draw your attention to the fact that SAGUSTU Rubber Screed is made of natural rubber and is solvent-free. This environmentally-friendly composition means that a chalky deposit may form on the surface at certain levels of humidity or residual moisture in the ground beneath it. This can be removed using a standard limescale remover. Slight hoofprints are created in the surface when the puffy upper latex layer gets squashed. This squashing function is important for the stability of the horse; it will not damage the covering. Installation instructions will be supplied when your goods are delivered, once you have placed your order.
Seamless installation creates a permanently smooth rubber flooring which is impermeable to water. Impervious to PH neutral cleaning agents. A coating thickness of 20 mm is recommended in the stable area and veterinary hospitals. Installation on wood, concrete, interlocking paving, metal and other surfaces possible. The surface can be made smooth and closed cell with the aid of a spiked roller. If installed in an outdoor area, the surface must be covered and rising damp must be avoided.
